The Story
Little Mexican Herbalist Apothecary began with a simple belief, one passed down through generations: the earth provides what we need to heal. Founded by Briana Drennan, this Latina-owned, family-run brand is deeply rooted in the wisdom of our ancestors and the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It's more than a business; it’s a continuation of a family legacy.

LMH Apothecary started in my kitchen at a time when I was trying to heal myself, my kids, and my home with what I had. I didn’t grow up with money or access to fancy wellness routines—I grew up with women who used what the land gave them. My grandmother, Angelbertha “Mama Cobb,” taught us that plants have their own spirit, their own purpose, and that healing is something you share, not something you hoard.
What began as jars of herbs in vinegar, late-night research, and trial-and-error slowly turned into something bigger. LMH Apothecary is my way of keeping our culture alive and making real, accessible medicine for real families. I forage and source intentionally, I make every batch by hand, and I stay rooted in the same traditions that raised me. There’s nothing mass-produced here—just honest plant medicine made with respect for the land and the people who came before us.
This apothecary exists because I wanted to create something that feels like home. Something that reminds people that healing doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. It can be simple, powerful, and rooted in everyday life. When you support LMH Apothecary, you’re supporting a Latina-owned business built from scratch, built from culture, and built with a whole lot of heart.
LMH Apothecary—real medicine, real stories, real roots.
